Ahead of the Union’s first game of MLS Regular Season Sunday at FC Dallas, Bethlehem Steel FC played a friendly against Syracuse University at the Union Training Center giving fans their first glimpse of the USL expansion side.
The Bethlehem Steel started strong and found the back of Syracuse’s net within the first minute with a goal from Corey Burke.
Four more goals would follow for Bethlehem Steel, as Samir Badr had a quiet game in goal.
Trialist Mohammad Diallo made the score 2-0 shortly after the first goal. Just before the half, Eric Ayuk was taken down in the box giving Bethlehem Steel another opportunity on goal with a PK.
