Philadelphia Union Captain Alejandro Bedoya received great news today as MLS announced their Team of the Week honors. Bedoya was named to MLS Team of the Week after his exceptional performance against Western Conference foe San Jose Earthquakes.
The Captain recorded his first goal of the season for the Union, which proved to be the game-tying goal for Philadelphia. Throughout the match, Bedoya was all over the pitch and displayed his precise passing ability. Bedoya completed 77 passes on the day, the second most by a Union player. Bedoya also had three shots in the match and recorded 94 touches.
