Audi MLS Cup Playoffs 101: Everything you need to know about the postseason

The six teams from each conference that finish the regular season with the most points qualify for the playoffs to bring the total field to 12 participants, two more than qualified from 2011-14 and the same number that reached the postseason in 2015.

HOW DO I WATCH?

For the second straight year all postseason matches will be shown live on national television on FOX, FS1, ESPN, ESPN2, UniMás, TSN and RDS. The 2016 MLS Cup will air on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 8 pm ET on FOX, UniMás, TSN and RDS networks. In addition to the domestic broadcasts, playoff matches will be aired in more than 175 countries around the world.
