Portland Timbers Darlington Nagbe made his first international start yesterday in the 0-0 draw between the U.S and Serbia and responded by earning Budweiser Man of the Match. Starting on the left side of the midfield, Nagbe had the best first half scoring opportunities although they both missed wide of the net.
After the game, National Team Head Coach Bruce Arena told reporters that be thought Nagbe “had a very good game, created a bunch of opportunities for us.”
