FC Dallas became the first team in MLS history to score five goals in the first half of a game in the team's 6-2 victory against Real Salt Lake. Roland Lamah opened the scoring for FCD, tallying the first three goals of the match for his first career MLS hat-trick. Before the end of the first half, Maximiliano Urruti and Tesho Akindele scored again for FC Dallas. RSL managed to score two goals in the second half, before 16-year-old Jesus Ferreira made his MLS debut goal off the bench for Dallas and scored his first career goal to seal the victory.
