D.C. United scores late equalizer in first home game

Houston Dynamo got off to yet another hot start in the first half against D.C. United at the Maryland SoccerPlex, as Alberth Ellis found the back of the net in the 30th minute. His goal was then followed up another goal scored just a minute later by Mauro Manotas in the 31st minute. DCU showed life in the second half, as Darren Mattocks slotted one into the net in the 50th minute to trim the lead down to one. In the seventh minute of stoppage time Luciano Acosta one-timed a headed pass to tie the match at the death and finish the game at 2-2.
