An early look at Toronto FC, Philly's first 2019 opponent

For the second time in three seasons, Philadelphia Union will open their MLS campaign against Toronto FC. Philly, of course, is coming off a 50 point season that saw them make the Knockout Round of the MLS Cup playoffs. Both Fafa Picault and Cory Burke notched double-digit goals and the Union featured the MLS assist king, Borek Dockal. The Union's playoff run also came on the back of two teenaged center backs and the team-focused play of CJ Sapong, who thrived after moving wide.

In contrast, the Reds finished with a paltry 36 points in 2018 and won only twice away from home.
