Bedoya made history against Atlanta United FC, as he scored his first career goal at Talen Energy Stadium in the 22nd minute of the match. Haris Medunjanin served in a corner kick from the left side, going short side to Jack Elliott. Elliott deflected the pass to the far side of the box, where Bedoya was waiting. Bedoya biked the kick on net, past Guzan for the Union's second goal of the match.
Bedoya also made an impact on the defensive side of the ball, making two key blocks in the 26th minute to stop two quality scoring chances by Atlanta.
