Adoptable dogs will be at Tuesday’s Philadelphia Union game in cardboard cutout form

Would you like to add another Union fan to the family; specifically a furry one? The Philadelphia Union and Subaru of America, Inc. are working together to provide shelter dogs a new home.

Just like fans were able to purchase cardboard cutouts of themselves, there will be cutouts of adoptable dogs in the crowd starting on August 25, the club’s first home game of the season at Subaru Park against rival New York Red Bulls.

“We are thrilled to be hosting the first Philadelphia Union game at Subaru Park on August 25 and to introduce the innovative ways we are incorporating our fans, community, partners, and even adoptable pets into a Union gameday,” said Tim McDermott, President, Philadelphia Union.
