As three Union Academy players wrapped up International duty a week ago, camps were just getting started for two young goalkeepers. C.J. Dos Santos (Philadelphia, Pa.) and Kris Shakes (Coral Springs, Fla.) were called up to take part in two US U-17 Men’s National Team camps in Bradenton, Fla. Shakes has just returned after wrapping up the first round of camp on May 8. Dos Santos will be in Florida from May 10-21 before rejoining the Academy.
Shakes recently joined the Academy from his home club in Florida and has made three starts with the Union U-14 squad this year.
