Jack Elliott was one of the best parts of the 2017 season, as the rookie became a franchise cornerstone and one of the best values from the 2017 MLS SuperDraft.
Elliott was selected by the Union in the fourth round of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft at 77th overall. It was so late in the draft that Elliott, who was across the pond in England, didn't even know he was drafted until his father told him the next day. Elliott traveled to Clearwater, Fla., with the Union for their preseason, where he signed his first professional contract on February 24.
