2017 saw a resurgence in Ray Gaddis's career, one where he played the most games since 2015.
Gaddis started the 2017 season as the bench option for both Keegan Rosenberry and Fabinho. He was in the gameday 18 for the Union's first six matches, but didn't see the pitch.
In the Union's match against Montreal, Gaddis made his first start of the 2017 season and his first start since July of 2016. He played the full 90 minutes, and set off a string of appearances for the right back and an impressive unbeaten streak for the Union.
