With the World Baseball Classic returning this spring, a number of current Philadelphia Phillies players are set to compete in the international tournament.
Pushed back from 2021 due to COVID, the will resume in March for the first time since 2017 as it gets back to a four-year cycle. This year’s tournament will begin on March 8 with locations in Phoenix, Miami, Tokyo and Taichung, Taiwan.
While final rosters for each team do not have to be set until next month, there have been many players who have announced their commitment to playing in the WBC, as well as some preliminary rosters released by some countries to list potential participants.
