As the Phillies wait to host Game 1 of the National League Division Series on Saturday, they still don’t know which team they’ll face or exactly what time the game will start. Philadelphia does, however, know that the action at Citizens Bank Park will take place in the evening.
On Wednesday morning, Major League Baseball announced two possibilities for when the first pitch of Saturday’s Game 1 will be, depending on how the rest of the postseason bracket takes form. Currently, the Red Sox and Yankees are playing in the American League Wild Card Series, with Boston taking the first game on Tuesday night.
