Call me a baseball purist, but I do not like interleague play. Were I the commissioner for a week, the first thing that would go is interleague play. By this point, the novelty has worn off. Part of keeping the leagues separated was because of the DH, of course, but there was something cool about not seeing an American League team until either the All-Star Game or the World Series. The proliferation of baseball on your television screen and on social media means that you have multiple avenues of being able to see American League stars if you desire.
