We all kind of knew that once Shohei Ohtani signed, a lot of free agents were going to be signing since teams knew they wouldn’t have spend massive amounts of money. We figured that the stars would sign, but what we’ve seen instead is a lot more mid-tier free agents find their homes before Christmas.
Makes sense. Players would like to enjoy their holidays knowing where they will be working next season, so a lot of players came off the board in the past few days.
