The Phillies start the second half with plenty of questions

SAN DIEGO - As Odubel Herrera buttoned his dress shirt late Tuesday, the young Phillies outfielder said his goodbyes to the National League's stars, and the second half of the season started.

Herrera, in the season's first 90 games, achieved status as one of the more interesting Phillies as the team embarks on its rebuilding process. The team was far more competitive than expected. Herrera was far from the only captivating player.

What's next?

"Keep making adjustments," Herrera said.

That is the task for the team's entire young roster as its exposure to major-league life increases.
