The World Series starts tonight, and you may have noticed that neither of the teams playing are the Phillies.
In fact, it’s starting to feel like it’s been a little while, with the Phillies last appearance being almost ten years ago. It’s easy to look back and recall the highlight reels and incredible moments that took the Phillies all—or in most cases, only nearly all—the way. But not even the World Series is without its hilariously painful moments in Phillies history. Some might say they were even more painful.
