Ten years later, Harry Kalas lives on

We lose faces. We lose names. As people come in and out of our lives, some of them fade away. It becomes difficult to recall that guy’s job or whats-her-name’s laugh. On a baseball team, people are always shuffling in and out. We won’t remember all the Travis Lee’s or Calvin Maduro’s that have come through Philadelphia over the course of our lifetimes. But nobody who reads this web site is ever going to forget the sound of Harry Kalas’ voice.

It’s already been a decade since he passed away in 2009, so in this episode of Continued Success, Liz and Justin talk about Harry Kalas, the fleeting moments we shared with him, the impact he made on a franchise, and the legacy he left behind in the broadcast booth that now bares his name.
