The Brewers are in town and that means Rhys Hoskins returns. Greeted last year by a rousing standing ovation, Hoskins has played well in this, the final year of a two-year deal he signed in Milwaukee following the end of his contract in Philadelphia. He remains a favorite of the people, the beacon of light during the cursed rebuild that took place in this organization.
Yet he is done in Milwaukee, barring an extension, after this season. He’s still a solid bat that can put up numbers when need be, something he is showing this year with the Brewers.
