Philadelphia Phillies fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
Earlier this week, Phillies General Manager Matt Klentak gave an update on 24-year-old reliever Seranthony Dominguez:
Dominguez suffered a UCL injury in early June that led to initial fears that he may have to get Tommy John surgery. He was moved to the 60-man injured list in late July to make room on the 40-man roster for reliever Mike Morin, and at that point there was a chance for Dominguez to return during the 2019 season.
He never returned despite resuming a throwing program in early September, but this result is a good one for the Phillies.
