PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Phillies Announcer Scott Franzke is set to wrap up the season this weekend when the Phillies take on the Marlins.
Franzke told Chris Stigall on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT they have not quit on season, despite their unfortunate showing this year.
“This team has taken the approach that, obviously they haven’t been going anywhere since near the beginning, they want to try to win all the games they can win. Pete Mackanin certainly tried to manage that way this week, making situational pitching changes in the fifth inning of games and the bullpen did a really nice job.
