The Phillies have found their new right fielder.
Former Texas Rangers outfielder and 2023 ALCS MVP Adolis Garcia is reportedly signing with the Phillies on a one-year, $10 million deal, according to Francys Romano.
Garcia, 32, is looking to rebound after two tough seasons at the plate. He was non-tendered by the Rangers after only slashing .227/.271/.394 with a .665 OPS in 2025.
Garcia, a native of Cuba, has an above average glove in right field that gives him a reasonably high floor. He does possess some right-handed power, something the Phillies desperately need.
