Realmuto, Harper, Nola named Gold Glove Award Finalists

Philadelphia Phillies right fielder Bryce Harper said in September it would be “an absolute joke” if catcher J.T. Realmuto didn’t ultimately win the National League Gold Glove Award in 2019.

Realmuto passed the first test Thursday, as he was named one of the three finalists for the award. St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina – who has won the award nine times – is a finalist as well, along with San Diego Padres catcher Austin Hedges.
