Ranger Suárez has finally landed with a new team.
He has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Boston Red Sox, per a report from Jon Heyman of the New York Post. The deal is worth five years, $130 million, according to The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal.
One of the longest-tenured Phillies is moving on. Suárez, 30, made his MLB debut in 2018 and broke out as a reliever turned starter in 2021, when he posted a 1.36 ERA in 106 innings. He has since been a mainstay in the Phillies rotation.
