Plays of inches lead to Phillies fans’ worst nightmare in Game 2 disaster

After losing Game 1 in devastating fashion, the Philadelphia Phillies came into Game 2 of their National League Division Series on Monday needing a win to even the best-of-five with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Starting pitcher Jesús Luzardo gave them a chance with a brilliant outing that ended in backbreaking fashion, thanks to a couple of plays that were inches away from going the Phillies' way.

Neither play, one in the sixth and one in the seventh, in question went their way and the Phillies dropped their second straight at Citizens Bank Park this postseason by a 4-3 final score.
