The Phillies finished the week with a 5-2 record, sweeping the Braves at home and splitting a four game set with the Rockies out in Colorado to close out the first half of the 2016 season.
The offense came alive this week, as the Fightin’ Phils slugged 13 home runs. Maikel Franco was red-hot, blasting three long balls (and homering in four consecutive games going back to last week).
On the flip side, Peter Bourjos and Odubel Herrera each cooled off at the plate, and saw their respective hitting streaks come to an end.
