Major League Baseball released its schedule for the 2018 regular season and it has the Phillies beginning the campaign with six consecutive games on the road.
The Phillies will open the 2018 season in Atlanta on Thursday, March 29 against the rival Braves at SunTrust Park. They will then travel north to for a three-game set against the Mets at Citi Field in New York.
The Phillies will finally open their home slate on Thursday, April 5 against the Marlins at 3:05 p.m.
“The 2018 season has some great interleague play at Citizens Bank Park,” said John Weber, Phillies senior vice president of ticket operations and projects in a statement.
