Phillies take a chance signing versatile Pirates top prospect castoff

The Philadelphia Phillies are making moves. The organization has made minor moves recently, but they’re still intriguing additions.

First, the Phillies signed former Athletics top pitching prospect Colin Peluse to a minor league deal. Then, they brought in former Pittsburgh Pirates top prospect Liover Peguero on a minor league deal as well, per Phillies - A Fan’s View’s Steve Potter.

It’s not quite a Kyle Schwarber re-signing or a Kyle Tucker agreement, but these minor league moves could turn out to be low-risk, high-reward for the Phillies.
