Now that the Major League Baseball All-Star Game is over, it is unofficially the second half of the Philadelphia Phillies season.
The Phillies finished the first half with a 42-48 record, which has them 12 games out of first place behind the Washington Nationals. However, they are just a half-dozen out of the NL Wildcard.
Will the Phillies be able to get above .500? Will they play like they did in the beginning of the season? Many people have low expectations for the second half and are expecting them to not succeed.
I believe that the team is going to surprise us all.
