Phillies rumors: Team interested in shortstop Troy Tulowitzki?

After signing Andrew McCutchen at the winter meetings, the Phillies appear interested in potentially signing another player whose prime was in the first half of this decade. Troy Tulowitzki is now a free agent, and Philadelphia is one team at least somewhat interested.

Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports reported that 11 teams, including the Phils, attended a work out for Tulowitzki Tuesday. The other teams in attendance were the Giants, Angels, Red Sox, Cubs, Padres, White Sox, Orioles, Yankees, Tigers, and Pirates.

Tulowitzki was released by the Blue Jays with two years and $38 million left on his contract.
