The easiest decision of the Phillies offseason has been made.
The club is picking up Aaron Nola’s $16 million 2023 club option, according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post.
Nola, 29, will be under contract with the club for at least one more season. He signed a four-year, $45 million extension with a 2023 club option with the Phillies prior to the 2019 season.
