The Phillies (14-13) snapped their offensive cold streak with a six-run fourth inning in a 10-4 win against the Chicago Cubs (17-11) at Wrigley Field on Saturday afternoon.
Philadelphia in the fourth had the bases loaded with nobody out on three separate occasions. The trio at the bottom of the lineup, Max Kepler, Alec Bohm and Johan Rojas, all drove in a run on back-to-back singles and a sacrifice fly. Bryson Stott recorded the Phillies’ fourth-consecutive RBI with a single, and Bryce Harper plated two with a double to left-center field.
The six runs in the fourth tied a season-high in runs scored in a single inning.
