All of a sudden, the Phillies are short-handed in the outfield. At the beginning of Spring Training, the team looked to have some solid depth behind Bryce Harper, Andrew McCutchen and Odubel Herrera with Nick Williams, Roman Quinn and even Scott Kingery.
Fast forward to now and Odubel Herrera is on administrative leave stemming from a domestic violence incident, shifting McCutchen to center. Nick Williams was re-called after a short trip to Triple-A to take Herrera’s spot on the roster and will split time in the outfield with Scott Kingery. Roman Quinn is on his way back from another injury, so nothing is set in stone with him.
