Phillies third baseman Maikel Franco is a young slugger who these days is harder on himself than he is on opposing pitchers. With the Phillies offense struggling to score consistently, Franco has put even more pressure on himself.
"I know sometimes I try to do too much," he said before Thursday's game at Citizens Bank Park against the Milwaukee Brewers. "You get in trouble sometimes, and that is happening to me right now. But I just try to do what I can to get out of this."
