Phillies Nation is starting a book club!
From time-to-time, we will propose a baseball book and encourage fans to read along with us. The first book we’ve selected is Macho Row: The 1993 Phillies and Baseball’s Unwritten Code by local historian William Kashatus. If you haven’t already read it or are too young to remember the 1993 team, you’re in for a treat. As the immortal Harry Kalas put it, “This wacky, wonderful bunch of throwbacks has won the National League pennant!”
Each book reading period will culminate in a live panel discussion that we will record and archive on Phillies Nation as a podcast.
