Lehigh Valley IronPigs (16-26)
IronPigs go 3-3 on the week, but still find themselves last in the division and 12 games back from 1st. Michael Mercardo continues to make noise as he settles in as a starter. In 25 innings this season he has a 0.70 ERA with 25 strikeouts to 11 walks while giving up just 12 hits. Mick Abel goes 6 innings for just the second time this season (7 starts). However, he is up to 22 walks in his 33.1 innings. The offense has been a mixed-bag all season, but David Dahl has been a pleasant surprise.
