Lehigh Valley IronPigs (28-45) – Triple A
The IronPigs plated four runs during the final three innings to surge past the Buffalo Bisons by a score of 5-4 at Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo, N.Y.
The IronPigs went into the seventh inning trailing 2-1, but that changed when Russ Canzler hit a solo home run to tie the game. The homer was Canzler’s fifth of the season.
An RBI single from Cord Phelps during the eighth gave the IronPigs their first lead being up 1-0 during the first inning.
