Lehigh Valley IronPigs (40-51) – Triple A
A dominant pitching performance from Anthony Vasquez, and a productive seventh inning lifted the IronPigs to a 4-0 victory over the Pawtucket Red Sox at McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, R.I.
Vasquez picked up only his second victory of the season after tossing eight scoreless innings where he yielded a meager four hits. He made work easy for Adam Loewen, who earned his fifth save of the year.
Red Sox pitcher Steven Wright did a good job of keeping the IronPigs off the scoreboard until the seventh inning, when the IronPigs plated four runs.
