Reading Fightin Phils – Double-A
The Bowie Baysox jumped on the Fightin Phils early and never looked back, evening the Eastern League Championship Series with a 10-3 victory in Game 2 at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading.
The Baysox rattled off eight runs in the first four innings and quickly took command of the game.
Bowie’s offensive onslaught came at the expense of starting pitcher Ethan Martin, who allowed five runs on four hits and walked five batters in only 2 1/3 innings.
