Phillies-Mets rained out for second consecutive day

While the Philadelphia Phillies hoped to get in Saturday’s game against the New York Mets, a window never opened up for the game to realistically be completed during.

That means that for the second consecutive day, a matchup between the two National League East rivals has been postponed. Saturday’s game will be made up during a single-admission doubleheader Sunday against the Mets at Citizens Bank Park, with the first game beginning at 12:35.

If you had tickets for today’s game, they will not be valid for the doubleheader tomorrow, the Phillies say.

Instead, if you are one of the fans who purchased tickets from the Phillies for the game initially slated to be played on Saturday, your account will be refunded a credit for the value of today’s game.
