- Alec Bohm exited the game early against San Diego on July 12 after getting hit by a pitch in the left rib cage in his first at-bat. He was out of the starting lineup the next day, but returned for the first game of the second half on July 18.
- Bohm was not in the lineup for the July 19 game against the Angels. The rib cage bothered him in his last at-bat on Friday.
