Harper was placed on the injured list with right wrist inflammation on Saturday, June 7, retroactive to Friday, June 6.
After hitting on the field on Friday, Harper is scheduled to face live pitching on Saturday in Atlanta. According to Scott Lauber of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Phillies flew two minor leaguers — right-handers Joel Kuhnel and Jack Dallas — to Atlanta to pitch to Harper. When it comes to when he could be activated from the injured list, Harper told Lauber, “I think next week is definitely in play.
