Aaron Nola’s puzzling stint on the injured list continues. After originally being sidelined with a sprained right ankle in May, Nola now has a stress fracture on the right side of his ribcage, the pitcher clarified. Phillies manager Rob Thomson initially announced the injury as a stress reaction.
Nola could throw his first bullpen session since he was shut down from throwing during the Fourth of July weekend series against the Reds.
