Phillies fans can only laugh as Mets get blasted by their own TV broadcast crew

While the Philadelphia Phillies have gone out and won back-to-back NL East titles, the New York Mets have become a laughingstock in Major League Baseball. Outside of their NLCS appearance last season, the Steve Cohen era in Queens has become an expensive, overhyped series of unfortunate events.

Few teams in MLB could go out, spend the money the Mets did and have nothing to show for it. Their own broadcast is even tired of watching the recurring circus act.

During the Mets' Friday matchup against the Miami Marlins, the Mets had a series of misplays in the field, which led to the Marlins scoring six unanswered runs to retake the lead 6-2.
