Phillies blanked once more, this time by Orioles

BALTIMORE - For the second time in three at-bats, rookie Maikel Franco was not happy with a third-strike call from home plate umpire Eric Cooper.

In the first inning, he was called out looking at a pitch up at the letters on his road gray jersey. In the seventh, it was one closer to his ankles.

Franco let Cooper in on his feelings. Cooper threw up his right arm and told Franco to retire to the clubhouse.

It didn't seem to be the answer Franco was looking for. He was livid.

Manager Ryne Sandberg quickly dashed out of the visiting dugout at Oriole Park at Camden Yards to intervene.
