Phillies minor leaguer Aidan Miller, the top hitting prospect in the organization, has been off to a slow start to his second year at Double-A. Maybe the infielder’s latest week of production can jump-start his season.
Miller, 20, batted .353 with a home run, a double, four runs scored and four stolen bases in 20 plate appearances as Reading picked up its first series victory of 2025. The right-handed hitter played in five of the Fightins’ six games against New Hampshire as they took four wins at FirstEnergy Stadium.
While he’s been able to stick at shortstop three years into his professional career, Miller’s calling cards are hit bat and his advanced approach at the plate.
