Draft day has arrived.
The Philadelphia Phillies own the 10th overall pick in this year’s first-year player draft set to take place tonight inside MLB Network’s “Studio 42″.
The Phillies have drafted well over the past two years, selecting shortstop JP Crawford (16th overall) and right-handed starting pitcher Aaron Nola (7th overall) with their last two first-round picks, respectively.
In what’s been advertised as one of the weakest drafts in years that lacks depth and a clear-cut number one choice, there are plenty of future Major Leaguers on the board.
