The Philadelphia Phillies, also known as the worst team in baseball, has perhaps the most attractive trade chip on the market in veteran lefty Cole Hamels. Hamels has a list of nine teams to which he can be traded without his approval; those nine teams include a list of big market clubs along with most, if not all, of the California teams (Hamels is a native of San Diego).
Theres also been rumors in recent days about Hamels going to the Toronto Blue Jays or the the Houston Astros, two teams that if Hamels is being candid about he probably has no desire (Blue Jays) or little desire to go to (Astros).
