No runs, no win against Orioles

BALTIMORE - When the Phillies players exited Oriole Park at Camden Yards late Monday, they did so not having seen a crooked number on the top half of a scoreboard in a week's time.

They haven't seen all that many single digits recently, either.

The seventh defeat of the Phillies' latest losing streak, a 4-0 loss to the Baltimore Orioles, paralleled its immediate predecessors. Baseball's most offensively challenged team was shut out for the third time in four days. It has failed to score in each of its last 21 innings and has mustered a mere three runs in its last 47 frames.
